Baul Cottage(formerly listed as House to the West of Red Lion Cottage,
East End)

GV II

House. Dated 1697 with C19 alterations. Coursed rubble gritstone with coped
gable at east end, end stone ridge stacks, welsh slate roof. Two storeys,
two bay irregular elevation. Tooled stone surrounds to windows, those to upper
floor with glazing bar sashes, ground floor with C20 windows. Two doorways,
that to east end a C19 addition, other door at west end with massive quoined
surround and lintel inscribed
