Moat Hall Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. C17, altered in C19. Coursed squared gritstone. Stone dressings.
Stone slate roof. Stone gable end stacks with plain bands. Stone coped gables with
moulded kneelers. Two storeys, three bays. Roughly central doorway with large
lintel. Plank door. To east, 3-light recessed and chamfered mullion window.
Beyond, to east, uneven glazing bar sash in chamfered stone surround. Dripmould
over. To west, early C19 glazing bar sash in flush surround. Similar window over.
Just east, above door, 3-light recessed and chamfered window with central light,
stepped slightly higher. Beyond, to east, uneven glazing bar sash in flush surround.
Remains of moat to north and west of house.
