House. Early C18, with later alterations. Rendered and
colourwashed timber frame on tarred brick plinth. Slate roof.
2 storeys. East front is a 2-window range. Two 6/6 horned
sashes to ground floor and 2 pairs of early C20 casements to
first floor. Formerly a central doorway, now blocked. Gabled
roof hipped to south. Rendered ridge stack. South return also
a two-window range. Central early C18 doorway: 6-panelled and
fielded arched door, the upper two panels glazed. Doorcase
with fluted pilasters and reveals with block entablatures
supporting panelled 4-centred arch with scrolled keyblock.
Flat C20 hood on console brackets. One 6/6 horned sash either
side. First floor with one 3/6 horned sash to left and a fixed
window over door. Stepped external gable-end stack to west.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
