House. Circa 1600 rear wing, front block early C19. Rear wing timber
framed with brick infill, front block coursed rubblestone with ashlar
dressings and chamfered quoins. Slate roofs. Front block 3 bays and
2 storeys and rear wing one bay and 1½ storeys. Street front has
4-panel front door in central modern gabled porch. 4-pane sashes with
chamfered voussoirs and key stones. Windows wider on ground floor.
Flanking brick chimneys. Rear wing has curved braces. First floor
south window has 3-light leaded casements. East gable elevation has massive
rubblestone stack with 2 diagonally set circa 1600 brick shafts. Interior
has chamfered spine beams. Early C19 front block retains original window
shutters.
