House, now offices. C16 much altered, with C17 wing; altered 1701
by Sir Thomas Pinfold, modern W. wing. Originally timber framed on
stone base, brick infill and rebuilding, partly stuccoed and painted.
Tiled roofs, large stone chimney in S.W. gable with brick shafts; 2
other chimneys have 3 diagonal set brick shafts, rebuilt. 2-storeys
and attic. East front has flanking projecting gables with bargeboards.
2-light attic windows, 3 and 4 light casements and sashes below.
Between the gables are 2 bays of 3-light casements, entrance with
modern porch. South front has irregular late C18 sash windows and
one door. West front has 3 gables, the RH C16 with chimney and small
3-light patterned leaded casement on ground floor, C17 central gable,
modern LH gable. Interior has moulded beams. Altered.
