House. C17 (plaster date of 1675); altered, particularly C19 and C20. Flint with
brick bands, quoins and surrounds to openings; plain tile roof; brick stack. Single
cell, probably originally part of larger building. 2-storeys with attic, 1 bay.
Plinth with offset top. Doorway on right with header brick cambered arch blocked
and with late C20 window; late C20 gabled porch on left; mid C20 metal-framed window
on each floor at centre. Stepped platt band; eaves band. End stack on right. Rear:
C20 extensions not of special interest. Interior: ground floor room has large brick
fireplace with timber bressumer and formerly with bread oven, chamfered spine-beam
with lambs tongue stops; old joists. Similar beams to 1st floor, and on wall
plaster dated, 1675, and initials, IPH. In attic, purlins and collar.
