Two houses. Main block has stone tablet inscribed "I. Freeman Arm .
Pos: Anno 1737" set in interior wall on upper storey. Chequer brick
with plain plinth,dentil eaves, hipped old tile roof and
symmetrical brick chimneys. Double pile. 2 storeys and attic,
3 bays. 3-pane sash windows, those to ground floor with gauged heads,
the upper heads rebuilt. Central C20 glazed door with semi-circular
fanlight; rusticated brick door surround with gauged arch and keyblock;
C20 gabled porch. 2 gabled dormers to rear. Left side has 3-pane
sashes to first floor, and C20 altered openings to ground floor.
Circa 1900 brick wing to rear on left side. Right side has C20 brick
extension with entrance to The Moot House. This incorporates C19 service
wing to rear. Interior of Fawley Lodge has heavy stop-chamfered ceiling
beams, and staircase with turned column balusters and moulded
handrail.
