Former Storey's Almshouses. 1729. L-shaped block of tenements and shop.
2 storeys with attics; red brick; tile roof; band between storeys; hung
and sliding sashes; hipped dormers; modern shop front with bow windows
along Northampton Street. Founded at the bequest of Edward Storey 1693,
to house the widows of clergymen. (RCHM 94).
Nos 1 to 19 (consec) and Nos 21 to 30 (consec) form a group.
