Cottage, early C17 with bay to right hand rebuilt and reroofed
in C18. At the same time the bay to the left hand was added.
Timber framed, cased in brick in C20 with steeply pitched roof
originally thatched with reed. End parapet and ridge stack.
One storey and attics. Two dormers, three windows all C20 and
two doorways, one to lobby entry and other to a service bay at
low end of hall. C18 additions and rebuild of yellow gault
brick. Inside the roof over the hall is of clasped side purlin
construction with collars to principals. The partition walls
between service end and hall have curved wall bracing.
