GV II

Farmhouse. Early C17 with early C18 and mid C19 additions and alterations.
C18 and C19 red brick, and brick casing to original timber-frame. Plain tile
roofs. Parapet gables end stack and ridge stack with upper courses rebuilt.
Two storeys with attics, L-plan formed of original C17 three unit lobby entry
range with C18 wing to left hand including hipped roofed porch or stair
turret. C19 brick casing and repair with two storey porch in angle, and
four-panelled door with pointed arched casement window above. One ground
floor casement window in left hand gable, two, three-light casement windows
in cambered brick arches to main range with two smaller first floor
three-light casement windows. Interior: original hearths, exposed
timber-frame, boxed and stop-chamfered ceiling beams, imported C17 panelling
from church. C19 doors and fittings.
