House, fonnerly a farmhouse, possibly built by Jonas Webb (1796-1862). Early
to mid C19. Gault brick, shallow pitched hipped slated roof; three stacks.
Two storeys and cellar. L-plan with later C19 extension. Three 'bay'
symmetrical facade. Main entrance with plain pilastered doorcase, six-
panelled door with rectangular fanlight and patterned glazing bars approached
by two steps. Two recessed twelve-paned hung sash windows in gauged brick
arches and three similar first floor windows. Boarded eaves, and brick
plinth. Interior details C19. Jonas Webb was noted for breeding Babraham
Southdown sheep which achieved an international reputation.
