House formerly a farmhouse. Late medieval origins with late C17 and C18
additions rebuilding and alterations, early C20 extension. Timber-framed with
plastered infill and rendered, painted brick. Plain tiled roofs, half hipped
to front elevation of cross-wing. One storey and attic, main range with
former open hall and cross-wing to west. C19 side stack to cross-wing, C18
ridge stack with C20 additional stack. Main entrance in side elevation of
cross-wing. Two ground floor casement windows and one C20 window; one attic
casement window and two gabled dormer windows. Interior: Exposed
timber-frame with some reused timbers. C18 open hearth with niches and mantel
beam.
