Early C19 refront of C18 house. 3 storeys painted brick slate roof,
2 windows with glazing bars, modern shop front in harmony with the
general character of the street. Cottage at rear forms part of No. 21.
Mid C18, 2 storeys, 2 windows, double-fronted. Painted brick, tiled
roofs, corbelled eaves, brick band at 1st floor level, cement dado
square-headed, slightly recessed shop windows (originally of Yorkshire
type) with small panes. Square-headed recessed doorway with panelled
door. C19 2 storey addition to east end of house.
Nos. 17 to 23 (odd) form a group.
