Walls to sunken paths, C18 or earlier, repaired at various times, of
coursed red sandstone. Inscribed stones commemorate building or
repairs: tablet with ornate top (opposite porch) "Richard Robinson;
James Mottershead: Churchwardens 1722: on north-west sides of path to
south-west gate John Down (?): John Davies (?) Church Wardens;
south-east of porch Richard Mullock: Chas.Cheers Caldecott Church
Wardens 1874". The walls include piers of the former south gateway to
churchyard, now blocked.
