House. Early C19. Rendered and painted brick with a slate roof and
lead flashings. Two storeys. Entrance front: three bays
symmetrically disposed. Central bowed bay and verandah before the
ground floor of wooden columns resting on a pavement of large stone
flags and with a lean-to roof. Slightly projecting plinth. Central
doorway with C20 double 4-glazed doors. To either side of this are
C20 French windows which rest upon the plinth where sash windows would
originally have been. Three 2-light C20 casement windows to the first
floor. Slightly projecting band to the upper wall and deep eaves.
Hipped roof of large slates. Chimney stack of 5 flues to left and 2
flues to right. The right hand side has a mid/late C19 canted bay
window to the ground floor with a hipped roof and a 2-light casement
window above. Projecting band and deep eaves as to the entrance
front. To the right of this is a projecting service wing of painted
brick.
