Hotel. Late C18/early C19. Pebble dashed brick with a plain tile
roof and red sandstone porch. Three storeys. Entrance front: five
bays paired to the left and middle all having C20 louvred shutters.
The third bay from the left has a projecting late C19 porch of red
sandstone with double doors to the centre with a 4-centred arch and
pilaster buttresses to the corners and a ramped parapet above with
ball finials to the corners. To right hand side are two doubled sash
windows each sash being of 3 x 4 panes and to the left are 2 single
sash windows of 3 x 4 panes, each with a projecting keystone. To the
first floor are 5 windows of 3 x 4 panes and to the second floor are 5
similar windows of lesser height. Moulded bracketed cornice to the
eaves. Gable chimney stacks.
