Lodge to almshouse. c1870. By F. Swindon-Barker. Coursed rubble
with ashlar dressings. Slate roofs with ashlar coped gables with
kneeleres and ball finials. A single reduced gable, and a tall
ridge stack. Chamfered plinth. Single storey. Slightly off centre
doorway, with moulded ashlar bow-headed door surround and part
glazed 6 panel door. To the right a single 3 light chamfered
cross mullion window with glazing bar casements. To the left a
slightly projecting gabled wing with a canted bay window with
hipped stone roof and 4-light chamfered cross mullion window with
glazing bar.
