c.1863. Largely unaltered part 2-storey, part 1-storey railway station/station
master's house. Coursed rock-faced red sandstone walls, coped Dutch gables.
Ball finials to gables. Grey Welsh slate roofs. Cream stone chamfered window
reveals with casements. Stone chimneys surmounted by tall red brick diamond
flues above eaves level with heavy corbelled caps. Heavy 2-panel double doors.
Round archway to original station entrance from forecourt, blocked in matching
sandstone. Glazed projecting porch with sandstone plinth to station master's
house. Recessed platform canopy with decorated cast iron column.
