1/76 Colehurst Farmhouse

Farmhouse: dated 1719 with C20 alterations and addition to rear.
Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Composition tile roof and
2 stone chimneys. Long rectangular plan, possibly with a cross-passage
and a former farmbuilding to the west. South front of the house is of
2 storeys and 3 bays. Left end bay has a heavy chamfered doorcase
with a C20 door and above a plaque reading AS 1719. To right are a
pair of French doors and 3 2-light casements under rough stone
lintels.
Interior: Formerly 2 rooms in right end bay, one having an inglenook
fireplace with chamfered beams and uprights, similar ceiling beams
with flat stops.
