Church,1857-9 by G G Scott. Tooled red sandstone with steep graded
slate roof. Decorated style; simply detailed. Aisleless; continuing nave
and chancel; slate splay-footed spired belfry on ridge, with
weathercock; south porch; priest's door in buttress-shaped porch;
north vestry. 2-light west window; two 2-light windows and 1 lancet
to each side of nave; reticulated 3-light east window.
Interior: 2 crownpost trusses to nave roof; timber chancel arch;
panelled chancel roof; Scott screen of wood and cast iron; stained
glass in chancel windows and south windows of nave.
