Gazebo. Late C18 (originally part of the garden ornamentation of
No. 36 Westgate). Dressed sandstone; Westmorland slate pyramidal
roof; lead clad ridges (originally had timber cupola: now missing).
2 storeys. Square plan. Doorways to N. and E. sides. Window to
first floor on N. side. Cross arrow-loop to first floor on S. side.
Dressed sandstone boundary/retaining wall fronting onto Westgate Road.
Early C19. Surmounted by ornamental wrought iron cresting in
naturalistic vine foliage design. Included partly for group value
with No. 38 Westgate. Empty and dilapidated at time of survey.
