GV II

Lodge at entrance to country house. Early C19. Cottage ornee. Rendered walls
and hipped, thatched roof of wheat reed. Rectangular plan with open verandah on 3
sides and 2 storey entrance porch to north front with late 19th Century 3-light bay
window which has cornice and crenellated parapet and attic window in gable over.
Entrance to each side of porch. Wide eaves over verandah are carried on rustic
wooden posts with half round arches over those which stand in front of window to
each side of porch. 4 linked octagonal rendered brick stacks over middle of roof.
