of Treblethick Farmhouse

"Granary. Circa early to mid C19. Slate hung timber frame with slate pyramidal roof;
raised on high granite staddle stones. Stone rubble walls have been inserted between
the staddle stones.
Plan: Square plan, originally raised on 3 rows of 2 staddle stones with a later
stone rubble granite external stair on the south east.
Exterior: The granary was supported on high granite staddle stones over 2 metre high
on the south east. Later stone rubble and granite external stair, probably replacing
a ladder with much of the granite comprising dressed stone from the earlier house at
Treblethick demolished after 1827. Plank door and timber louvred openings. In area
late C19 or early C20 stone rubble walls were inserted between the staddle stones.
Interior: Slots remaining for the (removed) horizontal dividing boards.
