Barn and horse engine house. Circa 1830s. Local slate stone rubble dressed granite.
Rag slate roof with hipped ends and corrugated iron roof to horse engine house.
Plan: Barn comprising rectangular plan with shippons on ground floor and threshing
floor above. Horse engine house with canted end on right hand end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular front with dressed stone segmental arches to ground
floor openings. Spandrels of 4-centred granite arch reused as quoins on right hand
side, probably originally from the house at Treblethick which was demolished after
1827. Ground floor has 2 plank doors with dressed stone segmental arches. First
floor has door to left, shuttered window in centre and casement to right. Horse
engine house attached to right hand side has canted ends.
Interior: Nailed roof to horse engine house with machinery removed.
