Public house now farmhouse. Early C19. Red sandstone rubble with V-jointed
quoins on chamfered plinth. Graduated hipped greenslate roof with cement
rendered chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with left side elevation of 4 bays
in L-shape under common roof. Top-glazed 4-panel door under radial fanlight in
Tuscan doorcase. Sash windows in painted stone surrounds. C20 side door under
radial fanlight, and sash windows in painted stone surrounds. A Red Dial public
house on this site is referred to in Bishop Nicholson's Diary in the late C17.
Adjoining barns are not of interest.
