5/91 Stable, trap house and cartshed

west of Witherhill Farmhouse

Stable, trap house and cartshed. Late C19. Snecked dressed stone with red brick
dressings. Gable-ended asbestos-slate roof.
Plan: Range aligned approximately north-east/south-west, facing farmyard to south-
east. Stable and trap house to right with loft above and 2-bay cartshed to left
with open fronted loft above. One storey and loft.
Exterior: Stable and trap house to right has late C19 two-light wooden loft
casements, central ground-floor stable door with segmental head and pair of large
plank doors to trap house to left under segmental head. Two-bay cartshed to left
with central wooden post (loft floor since removed).
Interior not inspected.
This building forms part of a farmstead group also including Witherhill Farmhouse
(q.v.).
