5/101 Wayside Pulpit to
Church of St.Mary

GV II

Circa 1910 by Austin and Paley. Octagonal red sandstone ashlar pulpit
set in boundary wall of St.Mary's Church approached up 6 steps. Like
the Church. q.v. the pulpit has a religious text cut into its masonry
which reads :- "Go out into the highways and compel them to come in
that my house may be filled".
