Bank barn and range of linhays and cart sheds. Circa late C18 to early C19
and early C19 with later C19 alterations. Stone rubble with brick dressings
and brick infilling. Bridgwater clay tile roofs, the barn half-hipped, the
linhays and cart-sheds with gabled ends.

Plan: Built around a courtyard, the bank barn on the north side has a horse
engine house at the back and linhays adjoining left (west) and right (east),
the right hand at right angles forming the east side of the courtyard; both
converted into shippons later in the C19. On the west side of the courtyard a
single storey range attached to the north range at one end and a detached
cart-shed at the other end, L-shaped on plan and returning to form the south
side of the courtyard.

Exterior: The barn has segmental brick arch openings on the ground floor and
a wide doorway on the first floor at the centre with plank double doors and a
canopy carried down from the main roof. The linhays at right angles to right
is unfilled with brick,with small windows between the timber posts; that to
the left infilled with concrete blocks and with corrugated iron cladding on
the first floor. The detached cart-shed range on the south and east is also
infilled at the front with concrete blocks between some of the posts.

Interior: the barn has a 6 bay tie-beam roof and its floor is supported on
unchamfered cross-beams. The linhays and cart shed ranges has staggered
butt-purlin roofs, and the linhays have unchamfered floor beams. The horse
engine house has lost its beam.
