Church rooms, formerly used as National school room and earlier as Church House.
Probably early C16 origins remodelled and restored in 1870. Stone rubble. Slate
roof with gable ends. Stone rubble stack at south gable end with drip and tapered
cap. Room to each side of entrance gates with large room over.
2 storeys. Single dormer to each side with hipped roof and C19 three light
transomed mullion windows. Cambered arch with stone voussoirs to entrance to
covered walkway on east side, 2 light casement 6 panes per light to right. Ground
floor C19 3 light window to right of cambered arched entrance on west side. First
floor access by doorway with plank door at north gable end. Walkway has 2 panelled
door on south side, with timber lintel to former opening to left and 4 panelled
door on south side. Exposed joists over covered walkway have hollow-flanking-ogee
moulded soffits with run out stops. Plaque in room over records 'This School House
was restored by Frances Torr. 1870'.
