south of Noraway headstone
approximately 12 metres south-
west of south-west corner of west
tower of Church of St Peter
GV II
Pair of gavestones backing onto each other. Early C19. Slate straight-headed.
The stone facing east records death of John Fry 1807, aged 45. The stone facing
west, possibly reset from the foot of the grave, reads
'God took me of all in my prime
I could not longer stay
And laid me up until his time
In my cold bed of cley.
Weep not for me my friends that be
Nor wife and children kind
When God thinks fit we must submit
Unto his Holy mind.'
