Farmhouse. C17, possibly earlier, with early C19 extension. Rubble walls with
stone quoins. Thatch roof with ridging. Brick stacks: 1 at each gable end
1 below ridge. Plan: cross-passage type with rear wing at top end and
smaller rear bay. C19 extension at-lower (left) end with straight joint
visible. Two storeys. Five window-range: casements with cast-iron glazing-bars.
C20 metal casements to ground floor windows. Large 2-storey porch with moulded
stone jambs, C17, and C18 segmental brick arch cut into the jambs, replacing
original arch. Interior: Plank doors. Rear-wall fireplace with stone
chamfered jambs, and wooden lintel. Bread oven. Two deep-chamfered beams.
