Farmhouse and cottage. Early C18 with early C19 cottage. Large squared and
coursed sandstone rubble; ridged concrete roof tiles and brick chimney stacks.
Central hearth-passage farmhouse with cottage on right return. 2 storeys.
Wide 3-bay farmhouse with rubble plinth and roughly-squared quoins at left.
Central replaced door and narrow overlight in surround with alternating jambs
and rendered lintel. Altered window openings with flush lintels and projecting
sills: late C20 casements flanking door; two 16-pane sashes and replaced
casement above, set immediately under eaves. Eaves raised probably in early
C19. 2-bay cottage has boarded door and replaced sashes. Continuous steeply-
pitched roof with swept eaves and raised verges. Reverse-stepped gable at
left. Square-plan, hand-made brick stacks at left end and centre. Rebuilt
right end stack. Added single-storey outshut on rear.
