GV II

House, early C19, extended in late C19. Brick with roughcast render, slate
roofs. Originally comprised a rectangular block with central door in a
symmetrical N elevation, with 2 hipped roofs of shallow pitch, internal
chimney stack in the middle of E section, external chimney stack on W wall,
early C19. In the late C19 an E wing was added, extending to the N, forming
an L-plan, with gabled roof of normal slate pitch and one internal chimney
stack near the S end. N elevation, ground floor,one late C19 sash window of
9 lights, 2 early C19 sash windows of 12 lights. 6-panelled door with shallow
hood. First floor, one late C19 sash window of 12 lights, 3 early C19 sash
windows of 12 lights. Some crown glass in the early C19 sash windows.
Original stair in central entrance-hall of early C19 block.
