House. Circa 1700. Red brick with chequerwork and diamond patterning in
vitrified headers. C20 tile roof. 2 storeys and attics, L-plan. Symmetrical
3-window front elevation. Ground and first floor windows are early C19 small
paned cast iron casements with, pointed-arched lights. Attic has 2 box
dormers containing 2-light casements with glazing bars. These flank a central
roof-light. Central doorway has rectangular fanlight above door of 6 flush
panels. Open flat-hooded porch with slim columns and trelliswork panels in
pointed-arched design similar to windows. Brick band at first floor level.
Moulded timber eaves cornice. Red brick stack to RH gable end. Red brick
ridge back to rear block, at junction with front block. Small 2-storeyed C20
addition to RH gable end of main block, with windows to match those in main
block.
