House. C17, extended C18. Timber framed construction with colourwashed
roughcast render. Clay tile roofs. Earlier part is 2-storeyed L-plan, whilst
later one storey and attics block adjoins to SW. SE elevation: C18 part to LH
has 2 3-light casements to ground floor, one gabled dormer to attic, and
rebuilt red brick ridge stack. Earlier part has slightly projecting gable
with one 3-light casement per floor and doorway in C20 porch to RH. Block to
R of this has C19 canted bay containing sashes to ground floor and 3-light
casement to first floor. Red brick ridge stack to cross-wing, red brick
integral gable end stack to RH block, both rebuilt. Interior: fireplace in RH
block incorporates a piece of worked clunch, apparently a doorhead.
