House. C16, with C19 additions. Timber framed structure, parts with red brick
infilling, parts with colourwashed plaster infill. Later additions in mottled
red brick. Clay tile roofs. Hall and cross-wing (originally with 2 cross-
wings),cross-wing extended C19 towards road, with matching gable block beside
it within angle. C19 one storey and attics block adjoins to rear. Variety of
windows, mostly C20 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. Gabled dormers
to hall block. Front entrance C20 gabled porch to W wall of C19 paired
gables. Original cross-passage entrance blocked by C19 front gables. Red
brick multiple ridge stack at junction between hall and cross-wing. J. M.
