Flint rubble and ashlar quoins. Late C12 doomway reset in south aisle has zig-zag
patterned arch and stiff-leaf capitals. The chancel arch is of similar date although
the chancel was rebuilt C19 when the vestry was aided. The north chapel was built
in C14 and extended C15 to form a north aisle. The south aisle and west tower
were also added in C15. The church was much restored in 1875. In the nave; brass
to John and Elizabeth Hawt 1505: north aisle brass of 1518 to Edward Dormer, his
2 wives and 14 children.
