Youngwood House Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C17, with later alterations and additions. Rubble, rendered,
double Roman tiled roof with stone ridge and gable stacks, some pantiles.
Irregular plan with former bakehouse attached to front left and former cider
house (with cider press intact) attached to rear right. 2 storeys and 4 windows,
all 3-light C20 casements at first floor, ground floor has single light and C20
door, 3-light and two 2-light similar casements, C20 gabled porch between 2
windows to right; attached 2-storey bakehouse in painted rubble with pantiled
roof and brick gable stacks, blocked window at ground and first floor, door to
side. Right return has blocked ground floor window, hood mould remaining;
it storey cider house has door to front and plate-glass window to side, pantiled
roof with some stone slates remaining at eaves. Rear has 3 gable ends to left,
one of cider house, central gable end has ground and first floor plate-glass
window; rear right has 1/2-glazed door with triangular hood (ridge stack to left),
3-light C20 casement with timber lintel at ground and first floor right; inner
side of wing to left has C20 window at ground and first floor and 1/2-glazed door.
