Farmhouse. Early C17, parallel block added to front early Cl9, with some later
alterations. Rubble, rendered, 2-span pantiled roof, rendered gable stacks,
ridge stack to early building. Originally long house, probably through passage
plan. C19 front of 2 storeys and 3 windows, all 16-pane sashes, central panelled
and glazed door with flat hood on trellis porch, single storey rubble addition to
right. Left return has blank gable end of Cl9 building, rear gable end has
single light at ground floor, 3-light Cl9 casement at first floor. Right return
has single light and door in lean-to. 1 1/2 storey rear has at ground floor from
left: 9-pane light, door with strap hinges (to former dairy) 3-light casement
with timber lintel and door with strap hinges, 2-light casement; small 3-light,
2-light and single casement under eaves. Interior: not accessible, said to
contain heavy doorframes and beams in rear part.
