Farmhouse, now house. c.1700 with considerable C20 restoration and alteration,
earlier farmhouse of late C16/early C17 attached to right, with alterations
c.1948. Earlier farmhouse of rubble, rendered at first floor level, with
pantiled roof and ridge stack; later building of rubble with hipped slate roof,
stacks to sides, some double Roman tiles. Early farmhouse of 2 storeys
(formerly 1 1/2, roof raised) and 3 windows, all C20 3-light metal casements, ground
floor has 2-light and 3-light similar casement and door to right; wing set back
to right with 3-light casement at ground and first floor catslide roof to end
with two 2-light casements at ground floor. Right return has 2 lean-to's of
different sizes with door to each, single light to front and 2-light casement to
rear, 3-light casement in gable end. Rear has catslide roof, 2 C20 flat-headed
dormers, stack to rear left and attached lean-to, 3-light casement to left,
2-light and 2 small single lights to right, door, possibly to rear of through
passage. Later farmhouse of 2 storeys and 5 windows, all C20 copied sashes in
exposed boxes, central 6-panelled door in reeded surround with flat hood on
brackets, limestone string course above lintels of ground floor windows, deep
bracketted eaves. Left return has 2 windows as front, string course returned;
attached to rear left a 1 1/2 storey wing with C20 French window, double Roman tiled
roof and roof light. Rear gable end of wing to right has 3 small C20 sashes at
ground floor and paired sash above, door to inner side; rear of main house has
first floor sash as front and small 6-pane sash, single storey addition in angle
with sash; attached block to rear centre, single storey, with 2 sashes and large
