Poorhouse, extensively altered in 1838 when converted to school, now extended
as village hall. Rubble with freestone dressings, Bridgewater tiles. Gabled
hall, 3 windows, all chamfered transoms and mullions, off centre right gabled
porch with raised coped verges, chamfered, round head doorway below a blank
square light; at rear a central gabled wing has 2 sashes, to right are 2 windows
as front, to left is a gabled lower parallel range, C20 extension. Interior:
displayed strutted kingpost roof.
