ST 66 SE PRISTON C.P. CHURCH VIEW (north side)

2/31 Granary about 15 metres east of
Church Farm

G.V. II

Granary. Late C17/early C18 reroofed mid C19. Freestone, brick, pantile roof,
timber frame. Oblong one room granary on saddlestones, 3 rows of 4 entered by
flight of 5 stone steps to north; timber cill piece then flemish bond walls with
2 windows per long side and one to south, all, now glazed, have stays and shutters,
plank door to north, chamfered lintel; pyramid roof. Interior: horizontal
plank dado, tie of former truss is chamfered with scroll stops, strutted king post
roof above.
