Ice-house. Late C18. Coursed and square sandstone. Single, straight flight of
steps to chamber with tunnel vaulted roof having four ribs. No drain is visible
but the floor slopes to the rear wall of the chamber. Constructed adjacent to
the embarked turnpike road with which it is possibly contemporary.
