Terrace of 3 houses. c.1800. Flemish bond gault brick. Slate
roofs. 3 storeys with basement. No 24 at west preserves
original disposition of one ground floor round arched window with
arched upper sash, 2 first and 2 second floor 12 pane sash window
with glazing bars, all under flat rubbed brick arches. Ground
floor door and window under 2 concentric rubbed brick arches, the
inner arch recessed. Single panel door, plain plate glass
fanlight. Both have one 8 pane sash window with glazing bars at
second floor, one survival from the original facade arrangement.
First floors have string course interrupted by bay window
insertions. All threehave parapets with lower string and upper
coping in stone. Recessed channelled brick division between each
house to accomodate down-pipes. Stacks on end gables and to
party wall. Included despite alteration of Nos 25 and 26 for
group value.
