Farmhouse C17 or earlier with oak framing internally but external
walls cased in brick late C18. Brown Flemish bond brick with pale
headers to front and gable ends; steep grey slate roof. 2 storeys
plus attics; 4 windows. Replaced door under gabled open porch on
shaped brackets. Replaced cross-casements; those to upper storey and
left 2 to lower storey late C20 small-pane, the right 2 to lower
storey of 6 panes are probably C19. Coped gables have cyma
footstones. Gable chimneys and 1 ridge chimney. Slate-roofed brick
leanto extension at rear, probably C19. Above the back door one panel
of the oak frame is exposed.

Interior: Substantial oak framing and beams. An interesting
mullioned window with shaped apron, all of oak, is now between main
block and rear extension.
