Pair of cottages, originally built as a Friends Meeting House.
Early C19. Coursed rubblestone, slated roofs. 2 storeys, each
cottage of 1½ bays, the centre half bay being shared by both with
2-light window to 1st floor across party wall. No 18 has part
glazed 4 panel door, No 16 board door with arched vision panel.
Gothick Y-traceried leaded casements to outer bays and across
party wall at mezzanine level to staircase. Flanking stacks and
projecting eaves. No 18 has lean to at left, No 16 has lean to and
set back 2 storey 1 bay addition with Gothick window to match
built c1980
