After 1816, conversion of earlier mill connected with Thomas Pearsall's
Croop-iron works. By 1837 it was a flour mill. It is still operated as
a grist mill at the time of the 1968 floods which broke the weir. Three
storeys. Rubble with hipped pantile roof. Cambered heads to windows,
2 on each side of central hoist doors.
