Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18 with later alterations, and small C19 addition to left. Flemish bond brick with string course, on stone plinth. C19 and C20 plain-tile roof; old brick stacks. T-plan with slightly projecting cross wing on right.
Two storeys and attic; four-window range, one-window addition. Moulded two-panelled door near angle has moulded wood architrave and large cornice. Staircase window above and to right. Windows throughout are mostly late C20 top-hung casements with glazing bars. Blocked doorway immediately to left has blocked window above. C19/C20 two-light casement with horizontal glazing bars on ground floor on left. Blocked narrow window above. Second bay has C19 cross window with glazing bars to each floor. Two-window cross wing has string course above first floor. C19 two-light attic casement with glazing bars. Most openings have brick basket arches. Left end stack has two arched panels to left return side.
Lower two-storey addition has blocked segmental-arched opening and C20 windows. Right return side has lateral stack. Garden front has main range of four bays and narrow bay to right. First bay has C19 cross window. Late C20 eight-panelled door and overlight to second bay. C19 single-storey range across narrow bay. First floor has second, third and narrow bays blocked. Two-window cross wing has C19 cross window to second bay. Blocked window on left on first floor. All openings have brick flat arches with keystones.
Interior: kitchen has former open fireplace. Another room has fireplace in coved recess with flanking arched alcoves. Painted open-well staircase has turned balusters, square newels, moulded handrail and acorn drops. First floor has three-panelled doors with H-L hinges. Room has bolection moulded angle fireplace. Attic has panelled doors. Roof is partly queen strut.
