Farmhouse. Late Cl6 with early C17 wing; altered early C19, Timber-framed main
range and wing of brick with stone dressings are rendered throughout. Plain-tile
roof; large ridge stack of thin bricks, and other ridge stacks. Irregular L-plan
with wing on right. 2 storeys; 3-window lain range, 2-window wing. Main range
has plank door and large open porch to left. 2 late C20 top-hung casements.
First floor has C20 single-light and (DIY three-light casements with horizontal
glazing bars. One-storey-and-attic range in the angle had catslide roof. Early
C19 six-panelled part-glazed door has wood pilaster strips and entablature,
Small 2-light window above and to right, left return side of wing has 4-panelled
door and 20-pane sash. 2-light casements, one C19, above. Right return side of
main range has quoins, 2 bays of blind windows and gable parapet, Rear is
irregular. French window has porch of slender iron columns. Interior is said to
have C17 staircase with balustrade of pierced scrolled foliage.
