TQ 85 NE BREDGAR SWANTON STREET
(east side)

7/3 Downsells

GV II

Hall house. C16, 1607 and clad C20. Timber framed and clad
with red brick with plain tile roof, Two storeys on plinth, with
plat band and brick dentil cornice. Stacks to centre left
and end left in catslide outshort. Three C20 cement rendered
mullioned windows on first floor and 2 on ground floor, and plank
and stud door in half-timbered hipped porch. Exposed close-
studded framing on left return front with first floor oriel, and
exposed framed rear wing. Interior: mantel dated S 1607 S,
contemporary with added rear wing.
